Pos 1 (Hard Carry) is the team's main farm hero. It stands on the safe lane with the pos 5 support, banks farm in the first 15 minutes and becomes the late-game finisher.
Pos 1 Night Stalker is a right-click carry with a big spike at night.
Game phases on this position
| Lane | Lane phase 0-10 minutes. You stand under the tower on the safe lane, denying your pos 5's creeps to keep the equilibrium. The main task — get 50+ last hits by minute 10. |
| Mid-game | Mid-game 10-25 minutes. You close Power Treads + the first core item (Battle Fury / Mjollnir / Diffusal). You help the team in fights only once the build is ready. |
| Late | Late 25+ minutes. A full build of 5-6 items. Pushing through the high ground, a Roshan attempt after a big teamfight win. |
