Item Auto-Use for Dota 2 — Auto-Cast Active Items in Umbrella
AUTOMATION MODULE · AUTO-CAST CONSUMABLES

Item Auto-Use — automatic active item casting

Item Auto-Use casts consumables and active items at the right moment: Magic Wand at HP < 40%, Faerie Fire under a lethal burst, Glimmer under an incoming projectile, Lotus on a targeted ability. Your 5th slot is for things that matter — not for micro-clicking.

What the module does

Inside the software this is two related modules in the General section — Items Manager handles inventory usage in a match, Shop Manager handles fast purchases. Both are configured independently.

Items Manager — item usage

  • Items Usage (Items to Use) — the core of the module: auto-use of active items by configured rules. For each item in the list you set Items Conditions — the HP and mana thresholds at which it fires (for example, Magic Wand at HP < 40%).
  • Dangerous Items — auto-pop defensive items when the hero is under threat: BKB, Cyclone (Eul's), Lotus Orb and similar fire reactively under incoming burst or targeted control.
  • Important Items — a separate priority list of items that resolve first and are not blocked by minor triggers.
  • Auto Items in Ult — when you cast your own ultimate, linked items are used automatically (for example, a buff/save synced with the ult).
  • Items Snatcher — automatic pickup of items dropped on the ground (gem, rapier, dropped items) without a manual click.
  • Blink Spam — a key that, while held, spams Blink Dagger toward the fountain (quick retreat).
  • Heal Failswitch — blocks Healing Salve, Clarity, Mango when HP/MP is full.
  • PT Switcher — automatic Power Treads switching before using an ability (STR/AGI/INT for the needed attribute).
  • Movespeed — Phase Boots, Spider Legs activate for a speed boost while running.
  • Anti Haunt — Dagon, Hex on Spectre illusions during Haunt.
  • Break Pounce / Kinetic — Branch to break Slark Pounce and Disruptor Kinetic Field attachments.
  • Auto Bottle — refill at the fountain without a manual click.
  • Auto Dust — instant Dust of Appearance when an enemy goes invisible. A configurable list of skill triggers.
  • Auto Midas — Hand of Midas when a set experience level is reached. Source: own hero, Arc Clone, Spirit Bear.
  • Auto Dispel Buffs — removing buffs from enemies with selected items (Diffusal, Nullifier, etc.).
  • Trees Destroyer — auto-destroy trees with items (Quelling Blade, Tango).

Shop Manager — item purchasing

  • Fast Buy Binds — a separate bind per item: press the key and the item is purchased instantly without opening the shop.
  • Buy Items from QuickBuy — auto-purchase from your QuickBuy list: as soon as you have enough gold, the queued items are bought for you.
  • Ignore Basic / Neutral / Upgrade Items — filters for auto-buy: Ignore Basic Items (standard recipe components), Ignore Neutral Items (neutral items), Ignore Upgrade Items (intermediate build-up items) — so auto-buy only spends gold on what you actually need.
  • Auto Buy — automatic purchasing with networth protection: Keep BuyBack (does not spend gold if less than buyback cost), Buy Scrolls (TP scrolls up to X, option "only near shop"), Buy Consumables (Wand, Mango, Branch).
i

Items Manager synergizes with Dodger: Dodger handles the main save (Blink/BKB/Manta), Items Manager handles small triggers (Dust, Bottle, PT Switch). Together they cover all inventory micro-management.

Supported items

40+ active items divided into categories:

  • Regeneration: Magic Wand, Healing Salve, Tango, Mango, Faerie Fire, Bottle.
  • Save and kite: Glimmer Cape, Lotus Orb, Ghost Scepter, Cyclone (Eul's), Force Staff.
  • Magic protection: Hood of Defiance, Pipe of Insight, Eternal Shroud.
  • Active targeted: Diffusal Blade (purge), Heaven's Halberd (disarm), Nullifier (dispel).
  • Toggles: Armlet of Mordiggian, Power Treads (STR/AGI/INT).
  • Support utility: Mekansm, Guardian Greaves, Holy Locket, Solar Crest.
  • Anti-illusion: Dagon, Hex for dealing with Spectre / Phantom Lancer clones.
  • Consumables: Dust of Appearance, Smoke, TP scrolls.

How to set up Item Auto-Use

  1. Launch Umbrella (download).
  2. In the cheat menu open Auto-Items and activate Item Auto-Use.
  3. In the item list check the ones you want: Wand, Glimmer, Lotus, Ghost. For each configure the trigger (% HP, type of incoming hit).
  4. Assign priority (if two items can fire simultaneously, the higher-priority one casts).
  5. Bind a master toggle key — to completely disable auto-items when needed (for example, in a safe farming phase).
  6. Save to cloud.

Ready presets for carry / support / mid are on the Config page.

Safety

Item Auto-Use is an automatic click on an inventory slot. From an anti-cheat perspective it resembles a key bind. Umbrella protection:

  • Spoofer — HWID masking.
  • Reaction jitter — a 50–150ms delay before casting (simulating human reaction).
  • Cloud config with no traces on disk.

FAQ

Will the module cast Magic Wand at every 1% HP?

No, you set the threshold yourself. Default is 40% HP with 8+ stacks on Wand. You can tie it to charge count (for example, use at 12 charges).

Does it cast Glimmer on an ally?

Yes, there is ally-mode. If an ally is focused (3+ abilities aimed at them) and their HP is below 50%, Glimmer is cast on the ally.

Is Black King Bar handled here or in Dodger?

BKB is handled in Dodger (it is a defensive reaction). Item Auto-Use handles consumables and cooldown items without immunity logic.

Can you disable just one item (e.g. not use Bottle)?

Yes, each item is toggled with its own checkbox in the settings. You can configure only Wand + Salve and ignore everything else.

Auto-Wand and Glimmer — for $2.99

Item Auto-Use handles all inventory micro-management for you. Your 5th slot is freed for what actually matters — Blink, BKB, Aghanim.
