What a script is in Umbrella
A script is a set of automatic actions bound to one button. Unlike a macro (a dumb key recording), a script reads the game state: enemy positions, cooldowns, HP, active effects. It fires only when the conditions are perfect.
Examples:
- Invoker auto-combo — you bind one button: Tornado → EMP → Meteor → Deafening Blast in the perfect order.
- Pudge hook angle — you aim the cursor roughly — the script computes the angle with prediction.
- Lina auto-ult — ultimates an enemy when HP is below the ultimate's damage.
- Armlet abuse — auto toggle on/off of Armlet for +HP manipulation.
Top heroes with scripts
By OpenDota data — the most in-demand heroes for automation:
| Hero | Scripts | Win rate | Main script |
|---|---|---|---|
| Invoker | 12 | 53.4% | Auto-combo (Cataclysm + Sun Strike) |
| Pudge | 8 | 50.3% | Hook angle prediction |
| Lina | 7 | 49.2% | Auto-ult on low HP |
| Sniper | 6 | 50.1% | Auto-headshot + kite |
| Storm Spirit | 9 | 48.9% | Combo with BKB + ETH + ult |
| Tinker | 11 | 48.8% | Rearm + rocket combo |
Detailed cards for each hero — clicking a tile opens a preview modal, the "Full page" button leads to a dedicated guide (e.g. Invoker, Pudge, Lion).
How to load a script
- Launch Umbrella (the loader).
- Open the Scripts section.
- Choose a hero from the list → pick the script you need (or grab a ready config with a script selection).
- Assign a hotkey (usually
Mouse4— the standard combo bind). - Enter the game — press the bind at the right moment.
Script safety
Scripts are a grey area. Simple binds are formally less noticeable than crude automation (like "play the game for me"). Umbrella uses a spoofer and cloud configs to reduce the risk.

FAQ
Are scripts the same as macros?
No. A macro is a dumb key recording with no context awareness. A script reads the game state and fires only when the conditions are met. So a script is far more effective and less noticeable.
Can you use scripts in ranked?
Technically — yes, the cheat works in any mode. Ethically and by Valve's rules — it's a violation. Use at your own risk, with the spoofer.
Which heroes have scripts?
All 126 Dota 2 heroes have basic scripts (last-hit, auto-cast ultimates). The most playable ones have extended combos (Invoker, Pudge, Tinker, Storm Spirit, etc.).
What do you need to buy separately?
Nothing. All scripts are included in any Umbrella plan from $2.99. No surcharges, no "per-hero" subscriptions.
