What an immortal item is
An immortal is a rare cosmetic item dropping from battle passes and themed chests. What sets it apart from an ordinary exclusive set is a unique animation of a key skill or a non-standard visual effect on the ultimate. A few years ago the series was topped up once per Compendium season; now new pieces appear after major tournaments.
There are three release waves: old (before 2018, available only via Steam Market and Trading), middle (2018–2022, still found in caches) and fresh (2023–2025, actively traded on the platform). The price depends on demand for the hero, the rarity of the animation and supply.
Below — a catalog of the 30 most famous ones with the Steam Community Market price and an effect description. They're all available for activation via the Skin Changer in the Umbrella subscription — without buying and without needing the item in your Steam inventory.
Why the immortal catalog is worth it
- Scale discount. Buying one by one, 30 items cost ~$260. The Umbrella subscription gives the whole library for $2.99–$9.99.
- Combining. You can wear different effects on one hero at the same time — the Skin Changer isn't tied to Steam slots.
- Free swapping. You can change the look before every game, without Valve's 15% fee.
- Access to limiteds. Several sets in the table have long been delisted — they're not on the market at all. In the subscription they're available without restrictions.
