What the Disabler archetype is
Control decides the game's tempo. Lion Hex holds for 3.5 seconds, Bane Fiend's Grip — a full 5 seconds of channel, Shadow Shaman Shackles burns 4.5 seconds of the enemy's cycle. All these effects turn the enemy right-click carry into a disarmed dummy that can neither cast spells nor attack. Through the automated Dodger module in the Umbrella subscription, the player sees the incoming stun's animation in advance and manages to trigger Linken or Force Staff before the cast completes. On hard matchups this gives +3-4% win rate statistically.
