Patch speed after a Valve update
- Umbrella: average lag 6–18 hours. SLA 72 hours (if exceeded — subscription extended for all users).
- Smartdota: 18–36 hours. After patch 7.39 (December 2025) downtime was 3 days — a significant pause for active players.
The reason: Umbrella has a compact full-time reverse-engineering team. Smartdota works with outsourced developers, which slows reaction time.

When Smartdota may be a better fit:
- If you need a micro plan for a single day — to try it without commitment.
- If you are running Windows 7/8 — Smartdota has better compatibility with legacy operating systems.
- If you have been using Smartdota for years and don't want to relearn a new interface.

FAQ
Can you use both cheats at the same time?
No. Both inject a DLL into the same Dota 2 process and conflict. If Umbrella is active, unload Smartdota, and vice versa.
Which one has a lower ban rate?
In 2026 they are comparable: ~3% with correct usage and a spoofer. The main factor is not the brand but following the rules (see Do you get banned for cheats).
What about refunds if I'm not satisfied?
Both follow the standard digital goods rule. Refunds only in case of a technical failure.
Where are Umbrella promo codes?
On the Pricing page — active discounts of 10–25%.
