How to leave Low Priority in Dota 2

What Low Priority is

Low Priority is a matchmaking queue for players who got negative ratings from allies or abandons. In this queue:

• Only the Single Draft mode is available (no All Pick).
• The match search queue is 2-3 times longer than usual.
• Opponents are other LP players (usually toxic / griefers).
• A win in LP gives no MMR but removes 1 LP game from the limit of 5.

If you get a second LP — the limit rises to 10 games. A third LP — permanent (a new Steam account is required).

The standard path — 5 wins

1. Open Dota 2 → hit Play → the Low Priority queue activates automatically.
2. Play Single Draft (other modes are unavailable).
3. Pick simple heroes: Lina (fast mid finish), Wraith King (tank + creep chain), Sniper (ranged farm).
4. Don't be toxic — otherwise you'll get a second LP during the current LP.
5. After 5 wins LP is removed automatically. You can play ranked.

Average clearing time: 8-12 games (win rate in LP is lower due to opponent quality). That's 6-9 hours of real time.

The alternative — the Umbrella spoofer

The spoofer changes the computer's HWID, which makes Valve see you as a new user. LP resets instantly, but on a new account.

1. Create a new Steam account (free).
2. Get Dota 2 (it's F2P).
3. Launch the Umbrella Spoofer before your first login.
4. Enter Dota — Valve sees a new HWID session, LP doesn't attach.

Downsides: you lose the rating, skins and all the progress of the old account. Applicable only if you don't mind the main account at all.

How not to get LP again

• Don't write in chat on emotion — better mute yourself with the Shift+End combo.
• Don't abandon — better finish the lost game.
• Don't feed on purpose — the system detects the pattern.
• Don't use AFK-farm scripts — that's a ban, not LP.
